Definitely a hidden gem that is tucked behind the 270 exit in Grove City. Tropical Nut & Fruit is the bulk candy store that will have everything you didn’t know you needed! Get your gifts there, keep your snacks stocked, or just go to see what new things you may find.

Transcend Coffee + Roastery
Grab a raspberry danish or cookie, sip on some coffee, and relax in their dining room. From comfy couches to work space, you can people-watch or get work done right in the heart of downtown Grove City.

Strawser’s Ice Cream, Pop, and Candy Shop
Find nostalgic candy that you forgot all about! You can grab some candy to go, make your own ice cream nachos, or try the wildest soda flavors. Try something new every time you go in. Plus, they are right next to Conundrum Rooms. If you escape, you should reward yourself with some candy. If you don’t escape, you should make yourself feel better with candy.

Whit’s Frozen Custard Grove City
This Ohio-based company found a home in the old White’s Barber Shop on the corner of Columbus Street and Broadway. Whit’s Frozen Custard is serving up delicious custard in the form of cones, shakes, cakes, and Whitsers! Check out their flavor of the week and some other Grove City inspired specialities like the Beulah Delight or Broadway Gem.

Tastebud’s Popcorn Grove City
Popcorn is a go-to snack. You have heard of butter, caramel, cheddar, and all the “regular” flavors of popcorn. Tastebud’s Popcorn brings a whole new light to the way you eat popcorn. Red velvet, banana pudding, hot and spicy, taco, cheeseburger…you will have to go and see for yourself. Get it by the tub, bag, or even “snack size.”

Pick’em Up Joe Coffee Company brings delicious coffee and freshly made baked goods to sweeten your day. Get a cinnamon roll fresh from the oven or a kolache that is filled with sweet or savory goodness. This company is ran by the goodest boy, Joe. How can you resist a stop here?
Tip: Try my personal favorite – a cold brew float. 2 scoops of homemade ice cream in a cup of cold brew. Delicious no matter how hot or cold it is outside.

Jolly Pirate Donuts
If you know, you know. Jolly Pirate Donuts has been a Grove City staple for as long as anyone can remember! Jolly Pirate Donuts started in Whitehall, Ohio, in 1961. What used to be found in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia can now only be found at the last 3 locations in central Ohio – Grove City being one of those places. Grab your treasure chest with your baker’s dozen and share it with your friends (or not).

The owner of KKP Bakery brings 20 years of baking experience from the well-known Resch’s Bakery in Columbus, Ohio. KKP Bakery is located in the Beulah Park neighborhood and takes pride in a family-oriented workplace. Staff and guests are treated like familiar friends. Another new sweet spot that is inside a long-time Grove City attraction – Barb & Roy’s Ice Cream and Treats. This is where everyone should have their birthday party! Ice Cream, putt-putt, batting cages, and an arcade? Say no more to the most fun stop.
