What is the Pizza Trail?

After noticing the abundance of unique local pizza shops, Visit Grove City launched the Pizza Trek in 2019. Fast forward to 2026, and the experience has a whole new look, with many of the original partners still along for the ride.

Visit Grove City's Pizza TRAIL has gone digital, making it easier to keep track of while you work your way towards prizes. Whether you are a seasoned Pizza Trekker or doing the Pizza Trail for the first time, you are going to remember this Cheesy Adventure.

As a resident, you may ask, “Why should I try any other pizza? I am loyal to [insert pizza place here].”
As a visitor, the Visit Grove City Pizza Trail is the perfect opportunity to plan meals easily and try local spots at the same time. The best part is, whether you are a resident or visitor to Grove City, you earn prizes for checking in at each participating location!

How it works:

To participate, all you need is a smartphone and someone to share your adventure with. Or, do it solo; nothing says you have to share your food!

Scan the QR code at a participating location or head to the Visit Grove City Trails page to register for this free digital passport. To register, all you need to do is answer a few basic questions, and voila! Now you are ready for this tasty challenge.

There is a registration question that asks if you are doing the trail with any kiddos (anyone under 18). If you have kids, be sure to answer this so the kids can earn a prize too! The minimum purchase at each location to earn a check-in is $5 per person. For example, if you are doing the trail with your family of four and order a $20 pizza, each person earns a check-in.

You check in by scanning the QR code at the participating location and answering the prompts. You can give feedback on your experience and share a photo if you would like! Each check-in brings you one step closer to a prize.

Prizes:

What are the prizes, you ask? For the 2026 Visit Grove City Pizza Trail, we added prize tiers. Once you have reached the first prize tier, you may choose between a pizza cutter or a kitchen towel. For the kids, we have kitchen aprons! Fully completed digital passports get a link and instructions to order a free Pizza Trail T-shirt. These shirts are printed on demand by MoB Apparel and will be available for pickup at their location on Grove City Road. All other prizes can be picked up at Visit Grove City. Please note that only adult sizes are available.

The 2026 Visit Grove City Pizza Trail includes eight (8) restaurants and runs from August 27, 2026, through November 2, 2026. First-tier prizes are awarded after you have visited five (5) locations. T-shirts are earned per completed digital passport after you visit all eight (8)

*Shirts are printed by MoB Apparel every week during the Visit Grove City Pizza Trail. Shirts must be ordered by November 9, 2026, to be redeemed. Once you have completed your digital passport, you will receive instructions on how to order :)
