The 2019 National Park and Recreation Month theme is “Game On!” To encourage residents to experience all Grove City parks this summer, gnomes are in place at parks around the community for you and your family or friends to find.

1. Pick up a Grove City Gnome Hunt card from the Grove City Parks and Recreation office, at events and the Visit Grove City office or download the Grove City Gnome Hunt card.
2. Hunt for gnomes in Grove City parks (20 total). For extra fun, share your adventures: post photos using the hashtags #GameOnJuly and #GCGnomeHome.
3. Complete the card: match the number on each gnome to the park. You can redeem your card after 5, 10 or 20 gnomes are matched. The more you find, the more prizes you can get.
4. Receive a raffle ticket for each gnome you find, plus “bonus” tickets for each increment of 5 and for sharing hash-tagged photos. Write your name and phone number or email address on each ticket for a chance to win a day-in-the-park themed basket.
5. Drop off the completed card to receive a prize and enter the raffle at:

  • Grove City Parks & Recreation, 3226 Kingston Ave. Mon.-Thu., 8:00am – 8:00pm, Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm.

Completed cards are due no later than 5:00pm Monday, Aug. 12. While supplies last.
