7 Grove City Adventures to Add to Your To-Do List

Last summer, we missed a lot of our usual amazing opportunities to experience adventure in Grove City. This summer, a lot of them are back! Although our favorite Grove City adventures will look different this time around, it’s still the same fun, excitement, and thrill we know and love.

GROVE CITY CHAMBER FARMER’S MARKET

The adventure begins with the Grove City Chamber Farmer’s Market. While most events are still tentative in case of sudden changes with COVID-19 in our community, the Farmer’s Market is anticipating to be open Saturday mornings beginning in May and continuing throughout September!

This year, they’re offering the community a live walk thru style market (like the one we know and love) or a virtual market. This virtual market provides you with the opportunity to pre-order and pre-pay and pick up your goods in a drive-thru style. Information on the market, including vendors, exact dates, and how to pre-order, will be updated and can be found on their website. HEART OF GROVE CITY FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL & SHOP HOP

The Heart of Grove City Food Truck Festival & Shop Hop is back! Enjoy a wide variety of food trucks and local favorites while browsing through participating shops for special deals. With thirteen days to experience the Food Truck Festival & Shop Hop this summer, there’s no shortage of opportunity to try something new each time!

The Festival takes place on Friday nights from 4 pm to 9 pm. You can find more information about the food trucks, participating shops, and dates of the event on their website. Remember to keep six feet between you and other guests, and wear a mask!

Grove City Community Outdoor Movie Series

Don’t forget about the family-friendly Grove City Community Outdoor Movie Series! Starting June 23, every Wednesday night enjoy the opportunity to watch some of your favorite films outside, just behind the church! Bring a blanket, some snacks, and curl up with your family to enjoy! Remember to keep six feet between you and other guests, and wear a mask!

SUMMER SIZZLE CONCERT

The Summer Sizzle concert is a wonderful way to enjoy live, outdoor music here in Grove City. Bring a chair from home, or layout on your blanket at Town Center Park, 3387 Park St. Relax and listen to the music of a variety of artists every Friday. These concerts are free and are currently scheduled to start June 25 and continue until August 13. Remember to keep six feet between you and other guests, and wear a mask!

WINE AND ARTS FESTIVAL

The ever-popular Wine and Arts Festival is scheduled to make a return this summer! Enjoy exquisite wines and art while making your way around our historic Town Center. Boasting only Ohio-crafted wines, the Grove City Wine and Arts Festival includes amazing arts vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment. The festival is currently scheduled for June 18 and 19. 39th Alumni Softball Tournament

Every year, Grove City is home to the worlds largest softball tournament. With close to ninety teams spanning six decades of Grove City High School graduates competing in the championship, this weekend long event is something you don’t want to miss out on. This years tournament takes place July 24 – July 25, 2021.

Heart of Grove City Bourbon Tasting

Any bourbon fans out there? Journey back into the heart of Grove City to enjoy the annual bourbon tasting event. Save the date for this August 14, 2021, from 3 pm to 10 pm. For just $25 each attendee can enjoy tasting eight different bourbons. It’s the perfect event to explore the heart of Grove City and learn what you’re favorite bourbon is, so you can invest in that bottle to enjoy from home!
