Grove City Wine & Arts Festival
Sip, shop, and stay a while at the annual Grove City Town Center Wine & Arts Festival.
Grove City Town Center was abuzz with activity during the 16th annual Grove City Town Center Wine & Arts Festival. With over 15 wineries offering samples of award-winning wines, a host of delicious food trucks, and dozens of artsy vendors, the festival offers something for everyone.
The festival is centered around Grove City Town Center Park with vendors lining Park St., Arbutus Ave, and the surrounding area. Each year, the festival is free to attend, with the option to purchase tasting tickets for sample-sized wine pours.
I loved this opportunity to try wine samples because it took the pressure off committing to a full glass of something unfamiliar. I got to try a lot of flavors of wine I’ve never had before, and I came away with some new favorites, including Chocolate Cherry and Cotton Candy!
Most wineries list their wines from dry to sweet, making it easy to find options that match your preferences. The winery staff at each booth was also incredibly knowledgeable, offering recommendations, explaining flavor profiles, and sharing stories about how the wines are made. And, if you find a new favorite wine, bottles are for sale to take home and enjoy later!
All of the wineries featured at the festival are based in Ohio, so in addition to learning about Ohio wines, I have a whole new list of places to visit throughout Ohio! I came away with a greater appreciation for Ohio wines and the wide range of options available right here in my own state!
Wine isn’t the only thing worth exploring at the festival. The winery booths are interspersed throughout the artist and vendor booths, making it the perfect setup for taking a sample of wine and wandering amongst the artists. I discovered so many cute, local vendors selling everything from crocheted flowers to jewelry to baked goods.
Food trucks spilled out beyond the park and lined the streets of Grove City Town Center. There was a huge seating area in Grove City Town Center Park with umbrella-covered tables. The seating area was adjacent to the Main Stage, so everyone could listen to live music while enjoying their food.It was the perfect summer night for residents of Grove City and visitors alike.
Between the local wineries, artists, musicians, and food vendors, the festival showcased the strong sense of community and creativity that Grove City is known for. Even if you don’t drink wine, the festival is a great place to try out a new food truck, enjoy some live music, and shop for unique gifts or artwork.

Tips for attending the Grove City Town Center Wine & Arts Festival:
+ Arrive early to avoid crowds and longer lines. We didn’t find the winery lines to be too long, but the food trucks can get very busy around meal times.
+ Don’t miss the food trucks that are located in the Grove City Town Center, away from the park. It’s worth a walk around to see what else is available.
+ Save a few dollars by bringing cash to buy your tasting tickets. The punch card for 10 tastings was $5 cheaper if you paid in cash. Additional tasting tickets are also available if you need more beyond the initial 10 tastings.
+ Some wine tastings may require more than one punch depending on the retail cost.
Put the Grove City Town Center Wine & Arts Festival on your calendar for next year! You won’t regret it.
