(Grove City, OH) – Visit Grove City received statewide recognition in two different categories at the Ohio Travel Association’s RUBY Awards presentation, held October 5, 2023, at Shisler Conference Center in Wooster, Ohio.

Visit Grove City received two RUBY Awards for the categories of: Spirit of Community for their Spring  EggStravaganza Event highlighting history, parks, and small businesses, and an award for their Blog, written by Ohio Road Trips Influencer, Brandy Gleason.

Both awards were accepted at the Ohio Travel Association’s RUBY Awards presentation by Amanda Davis, Executive Director and Teresa Breckenridge, Sales and Communications Manager for the Grove City, Ohio Convention & Visitors Bureau, Visit Grove City.

The awards, sponsored by Ohio Magazine, were presented during the Ohio Conference on Travel.

The Ohio Travel Association is the non-profit association representing attractions, destination marketing organizations, hotels, museums, suppliers, restaurants, campgrounds and other businesses who make up Ohio’s $44 billion travel industry.

The State Tourism Achievement Recognition (STAR) Awards honor outstanding efforts by Ohio Convention & Visitor Bureaus in their work to market and promote their area destinations and to generate overall awareness of the tourism industry. Recipients are honored for their innovation, creativity, effectiveness and impact in travel and tourism marketing and advertising.

Ohio Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus is a resource for destination marketing organizations in Ohio to maximize the economic impact of tourism via effective communication, cooperative marketing, industry education, legislative awareness, issues management, trend identification and professional development.
